SHIPPING CARRIER UPS
Ground is Alma Fria’s carrier of choice. Ground shipping is provided by UPS at current market rates.
DAMAGED WINE SHIPMENTS
We will replace (or refund) for any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages. If the original shipment was damaged, we will happily replace the wines at no additional cost to you.
RECALLED AND REROUTED SHIPMENTS
A $20 fee will be applied to all recalled or rerouted orders. Reshipping fees will apply if an order is returned.
SUMMER SHIPPING
We strongly recommend all orders to ship via Temperature Control (or with icepacks) during the warmer months (May-Sept). This will protect your wines from heat during transit. Temperature Control shipping via refrigerated truck picks up from our cellar every Friday and delivers to the hubs in your area prior to being placed on a truck for the final mile of delivery.Orders must be submitted by Monday to be prepared for the weekly Friday pick up. This service is unavailable on the west coast. We recommend shipping Ground with an icepack if you live on the west coast. Of course, you can always choose to ship 2-Day or Overnight at added cost.
