FRIENDS OF ALMA FRIA – MEMBERSHIP

There is no fee to become a member at Friends of Alma Fria. Membership is not active until you have received your first member release. Members commit to receiving a minimum of three shipments prior to cancelling. Early termination will result in a $100 cancellation fee.

BILLING: The credit card on your membership account is charged before the release is shipped. The charge will be the retail value of the wines, minus your member discount, and includes any applicable taxes and shipping charges. Charges will vary with each shipment depending on your selections.

SHIPPING: You must be 21 years or older to order and receive shipments. An adult signature is required upon delivery. We strongly recommend delivery of wine shipments to business, rather than to your home address. Because of the adult signature requirement, we are unable deliver to a PO Box. While we do offer discounted shipping, should your club shipment be returned for any reason, the fee to reship would be the full rate charged by the common carrier to Alma Fria. If there has been some sort of error with delivery, we will be happy to work with you to resolve it. All address changes must be received via email or made through your account online. All cancellations and changes must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled processing date in order to be applied to the upcoming shipment. We do not require credit card changes in writing. Important: you may be responsible for shipping charges and/or restocking fees if you neglect to contact us at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled ship date.

TEMPERATURE HOLDS: During the hottest and coldest times of the year, we may not ship at all to certain locations, OR at our discretion may elect to ship via temperature-controlled shipping solutions. While we do everything possible to ensure you receive your wine in perfect condition, we cannot control what happens to your shipment in transit. If you feel you have received a damaged bottle, please contact us immediately. PICK-UPS: Releases can be picked up during our scheduled pick-up periods. We cannot hold wines beyond the pick-up period due to limited storage.

CANCELATIONS / HELD MEMBERSHIPS: The Alma Fria Membership will continue until you cancel. If a member shipment has been shipped but not received prior to our receipt of your written cancellation, you will be responsible to pay for that final shipment. Members who cancel their club membership prior to receiving at least three releases will result in an early termination fee of $50 or repaying the cost of discounts received, whichever is greater. Members can also opt to skip one shipment by placing their membership on hold. Please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

MEMBER AGREEMENT: I am 21 years or older. As a member, I will receive three shipments from Alma Fria throughout the year. I agree that Alma Fria will charge my credit card for each release. I agree that I have read and understand Alma Fria’s privacy policy and terms and conditions. It is my obligation to notify Alma Fria in writing of any address changes before wines are shipped. Alma Fria will not be responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected packages.
